Fixes/Updates
Assessments
Some assessments from release 2023.3.0 were not copied over to new agencies due to an issue in CAT. This resulted in some assessments that already existed being duplicated. This has been corrected.
Hours
Pair hours were not included in the calculated Agency hours fields at the student Hours tab. These fields have been updated to include pair hours:
Agency Current FY Intr Hrs
Agency Instr Hrs
Agency Lifetime Hrs
Reports
The report "Record Pair Comments" has been removed from the Pair area reports. The report "Pair Comments" replaces this report and shows all pair comments within the specified date range.
New Functionality
As part of Release 2023.4.0, the user interface for creating pairs has been updated so the pair intake page is more consistent with other enrollment setting intake pages. Search capability on the pair intake page for finding students and tutors has also been streamlined.
Pair matches can still be created at the student or tutor record, or at the pair area, but a new pair intake page will display. The pair intake page is the same whether you create the pair from the student or tutor record, or at the pair area.
When matching a pair from the student record, the student name automatically populates the Student field on the pair intake page. The student name cannot be changed when creating a pair match at the student record. If the student name is deleted, you can either cancel and start over, or click the down arrow in the Student field to display the student name so you can re-select.
When matching a pair from the Tutor record, the tutor name automatically populates the Tutor field. Just like at the student record, the tutor name cannot be changed when creating a pair match at the tutor record. If the tutor name is deleted, you can either cancel and start over, or click the down arrow in the Tutor field to display the tutor name so you can re-select.
When matching a pair at the Pair area by clicking Add New Pair from the toolbar, you may search for the appropriate student and tutor by entering two or more characters to search.
Searching the Student and Tutor fields
Typically the names of the student and tutor being matched are already known, so you may simply enter the name in the student or tutor fields when creating a pair at the pair area. You can also search the student or tutor fields by entering at least two characters in the fields. For example, at the pair intake page, enter "an" in the student field. This will return all students whose name contains those characters. You may then select the student from the list. If the student name does not display, you may enter different search characters to display a new list. A list of all eligible students will not display simply by clicking the X on the Student field to clear the search.
The tutor search is slightly different. If the tutor name does not display after entering at least two search characters, you may click the X on the field and then click the down arrow to display all tutors.
Once the pair has been created, hours may be entered at the student, tutor, or pair record as usual.
