Fixes/Updates

1. The fiscal year summary creation process has been updated so that a student record with a blank 'Program' field, or 'Program' displaying 'No Value Entered' can be updated without error.

2. The row ‘Students without Low Literacy Levels or English Language Learner selected in the Barriers to Employment record’ row has been removed from the Student Diagnostic Search.

This search is no longer needed because students will count on the 'Statewide and Local Performance Report - By Employment Barrier' report for those barriers whether they are selected in the student record or not.

3. Table 5 has been updated based on OCTAE requirements.

  • Attained a Secondary School Diploma/Recognized Equivalent and Enrolled in Postsecondary Education or Training within one year of exit
  • Attained a Secondary School Diploma/Recognized Equivalent and Employed within one year of exit

This new requirement may reduce the numbers on your current Table 5. Fiscal year summaries must be updated in order to see the change in the number of students who report on these rows. You can manually update your FY summaries, or check your state's FY summary schedule on the user news page.

To count in column B for the above rows on Table 5, the student must meet these requirements:

a. The student cannot have an HSE at the time of enrollment.

b. The student must be a NRS participant and have exited.

c. The student must have evidence of ABE L5 or ABE L6 in ALL assessment subject areas, OR

d. Have a class enrollment in a class being taught at the 9th grade level or higher.

4. The new 'Data Validation' area has been added. This is accessible on the list under the More area.
