Information about this scabbard

The only known example of this scabbard accompanies a very rare version of a Winchester Model 1866 bayonet.  The brass body of this scabbard is straight to fit the shape of the blade it services.  The frog stud is a round domed brass stud, brazed to the right side of the scabbard body.  The tip finial is an oval cap brazed to the end of the scabbard body.  Further details on this scabbard are not yet available.
