Squared Tang
On most of the Justice made bayonets, the peened end of the blade tang on the back side of the pommel is large and frequently square in shape.
Blade Style 1
This blade variation has a beveled edge that ends well short of the hilt creating a more prominent flat ricasso. So far, these blades have averaged about 550 to 565 millimeters in length.
Blade Style 2
This blade variation has a heavily beveled edge that runs completely to the hilt. So far, these blades have averaged about 540 millimeters in length and appear to be 10 to 20 millimeters shorter and slightly heavier than the first blade style.
Press Stud Spring Style 1
Most PS Justice bayonets have this unusual 43 mm long press stud spring. The spring is expanded around the screw hole forming a circular section. The body of the spring has parallel edges and it terminates in a rounded end at the press stud end. It appears to be unique to PS Justice bayonets.
Press Stud Spring Style 2
This variation has a 41 mm long spring with parallel edges and both ends rounded. It is less commonly found on PS Justice bayonets. But, this style of spring construction is the most common style produced by other manufacturers by a very large margin.
Press Stud Construction
Other than the shape of the spring, the press stud construction is very similar to the Ames Mfg stud.
