This logo is identical to logo #2 except for the use of a small font for MASS. It can be seen on the Sharps New Model 1859 Rifle Musket Bayonet - Egyptian Contract.
Logo #4: "Made By / AMES MFG. CO. / CHICOPEE, / MASS" on a scroll.
The earliest known blade date with this logo is 1860 and it is frequently found with 1861 dates.
Logo #5: "AMES MFG. CO. / CHICOPEE, / MASS.", similar to Logos 2 and 3 but in a heavy font.
