Hello friends, Welcome to the Mineral Repository at the department of geology, Shivaji science college, Nagpur. 

I am Apophyllite, a mineral with unique characteristics and distinctive properties. Born deep within the Earth's crust, I often occur in volcanic rocks and geothermal areas, where my crystal formations thrive in hot, silica-rich environments. My transparent to translucent appearance, coupled with my prismatic or tabular crystal structure, sets me apart from other minerals. With a glass-like luster and a tendency to form in clusters or aggregates, I am easily recognizable to those who study minerals.
