Mark Dwyer

Mark Peter Dwyer was born at Ashbourne, Co Meath, on August 9, 1963,

He was apprenticed to Liam Browne and rode his first winner, Cloneash Emperor, at Limerick Junction on July 5, 1979.

His first winner in England came on Phoenix Prince at Market Rasen on October 16, 1982.

Before coming to England to join Jimmy Fitzgeralds's stable, Mark had been champion apprentice in Ireland.

Mark won the Cheltenham Gold Cup twice: Forgive 'N' Forget in 1885 & Jodami (1993)

.He also won the 1994 Champion Hurdle on Flakey Dove.
