Hugh Duddy

National Hunt jockey Hugh Patrick Duddy had a brief career comprising one season, that of 1961/62. He had very few opportunities and rode no winners.

He worked for Epsom trainer Sid Dale and rode one of his horses, Jalan-Besar, twice in selling hurdles during January 1962. On the first occasion, at Plumpton on 17 January, they finished out of the first nine in a 21-horse field, then at Kempton on 24 January they managed ninth place out of 15 runners.

Hugh Duddy did not renew his licence the following season.
