We see above that while Adam was in the garden that the Lord formed yet further “out of the ground”. Yet, what “ground” is this? Is this ground of Genesis 2:19 the ground of the “earth,” as indicated in the Septuagint? Is this “ground” a spiritual ground of Eden (third heaven)? In Genesis 2:7, Adam was formed from the “ground”. This “ground” we know also has “dust.” “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground ...”In Genesis 2:8 we also read that the Lord planted a garden in Eden; and in Genesis 2:9, a continuation of Genesis 2:8, we see that “out of the ground made the Lord to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden ...”. Is this “ground” the same “ground” that Adam was formed out of? Or is this the “ground” of Eden, the third heaven?
