1. Daniel LEE was born 29 Sep 1732 in Westfield, MA.

Daniel LEE married Agnis CAMBEL in 1762, Westfield, MA. This record says the marriage was 31 Apr 1762, so it must be 30 Apr or 1 May. Their first child was born less than 5 months later.

I am unsure about the origin of "Agnis Cambel of Westfield." There was an extended family of CAMPBELLs in Southwick/Westfield, and another in Oxford. The Oxford CAMPBELLs had an Agnes, about the right age:

Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records, 1620-1988

Name Agnes Campbell

Event Type Birth

Birth Date 23 Apr 1741

Birth Place Oxford, Massachusetts

Father Name William Campbell

Mother Name Ellinor

Robert CAMPBELL settled in Southwick around 1750, and some of his sons later lived in adjoining Westfield. Agnes may have been his daughter.

Robert Campbell

Robert Campbell, first settler, came to Southwick, Massachusetts, about 1750, he was doubtless related to the other Campbells of Worcester and Hampshire county, coming from Scotland and Ulster about this time. John Campbell was another early settler, possibly a son. John, James and Thomas Campbell were heads of families in Southwick, in 1781. According to the federal census of 1790, James, William, Joseph, Captain Thomas, Captain John and Samuel Campbell lived in Southwick. They were sons or nephews of Robert Campbell. As shown by the ages of their children, Thomas, John and James were the elder children. [C&A, Vol. I, Part 2, p. 518]

Daniel LEE and Agnis CAMBEL had 6 children, from 1762 to 1772.

Daniel LEE served as a Private in Capt. Silas FOWLER's company, Col. John MOSELEY's regiment, Massachusetts troops, and died in 1792, Southwick, Massachusetts. [DAR]

2. Nathaniel LEE III, born 10 Dec 1733, in Westfield, MA. He moved to Great Barrington, Berkshire County, MA, about 30 miles west of Westfield. He bought property in Great Barrington in 1759, when he was 25 or 26. Nathaniel married Sarah HUBBEL on 20 Dec 1763, in Great Barrington, MA. See the Nathaniel LEE 1733 page.

3. Abigail/Abigal LEE was born 10 Sep 1735 in Westfield, MA. She married Tyler LARRABEE in Westfield. There are discrepancies among several records of this event. Tyler is sometimes Tylar, and LARRABEE is sometimes LARABEE. One record has the marriage on 23 Feb 1756, but that is an error. The consensus seems to be that the couple published their intention to marry on 23 Feb 1760, and the marriage took place on 1 Apr 1760. They had an illegitimate child, who died in infancy, before the marriage. After marriage they had 5 children, in Westfield.
