Sticky Bottom Cake
- 6oz (175g) sugar
- 4oz (125g) lard
- 4oz (125g) sultanas
- 4oz (125g) currants
- 8oz (250g) S/R flour
- 2 teaspns mixed spice
- 1 cup (284ml) water
- Place everything in saucepan heat then leave to cool
- Add the sieved flour
- Bake to 1 hour 170C Gas Mark 3
