6oz (175g) sugar
4oz (125g) lard
4oz (125g) sultanas
4oz (125g) currants
8oz (250g) S/R flour
2 teaspns mixed spice
1 cup (284ml) water
Place everything in saucepan heat then leave to cool
Add the sieved flour
Bake to 1 hour 170C Gas Mark 3
