Chocolate Fudge Brownies

  • 50g unsweetened bakers chocolate (or plain)
  • 110g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 225g sugar (reduce to 3/4 with sweet chocolate)
  • 50g plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 110g chopped nuts
  1. Line a tin (7 x 8ins) (18 x 28cm)
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate in a bowl over hot water
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients
  4. Add to tin
  5. Bake at 180C Gas 4 for 30mins
  6. Leave to cool for 10mins before dividing
