Bacon Quiche

Pastry

    • 6 oz flour
    • 3 oz margarine
    • water

Filling

    • 2 eggs
    • 1/4 pint milk
    • 4 oz cheese
    • 4 oz bacon

Make the pastry then roll out and line a flan ring. Bake 'blind' for about 15 minutes in the centre of a hot oven, Gas Mark 6-7, until just set.

Meanwhile beat the eggs then add the warmed milk, cheese and fried bacon. Pour into the partially baked pastry case, return to the oven, Gas Mark 4-5, for about 25-30 minutes until the filling is firm.
