5oz marg
5oz caster sugar
3 large eggs
8oz plain flower
1 teaspoon baking powder
6oz currents
6oz sultanas
2oz glace cherries (rinsed and dried)
2oz candied peel
2 table spoons ground almonds
Grated rind on a lemon
2oz blanched almonds
Mix the marg and sugar and then add the eggs
Fold in the flour & baking powder
Fold in everything else
Place in a greased tin
Bake for 2 to 2.5 hrs at 170C
