Like all restorations some more surprises on this one-of-a-kind car. Mike Ball discovered that the dimmer switch had a special custom made chrome cover.
We have been trying to sort out the special tires and finally through a lot of computer enhasing that the tires were special US Royal Masters; 670-15. Also have discovered that no one makes this tire today. I called every tire advertiser in Hemmings. I even called junk yards. Here is where we need help. Need to find an original set of these tires. Any one out there has a set, or 3 or 2, or 1?
Great progress on the chassis, the rotating seat design, the body repair and painting, trim parts, and miscellanous items.
Thanks for all the work again on this car.
Don
This set of photos you will see the body paint work, experimentation on the rotating seat mechanism, letters being prepared to shipping to the chrome plater.
Lots of detail work will begin on the one-of-a-kind trim parts.
