Subject: 56 X BUICK SESSION NOV 4 2014
Photos #1 & #2 show the completed engine that was recently unloaded and now is on a rolling cart. It has been run at the engine shop when I was headed to Hershey. Now it will rest until we have the manpower to install it.
Photo #3 shows the right hood trim that goes from the rear to the very front of the hood. Unfortunately it came apart at the chrome shop and we have been working on it for weeks to re-connect it. The difficult part is to get the joint perfect like the rest of the trim. This piece is right where your eye can see it. Ron and Connie have been working on this part.
Photos #4 & #10 show Dick Saddlers hands as he polishes the latch handle that latches the convertible top to the top of the wind shield header.
Photo #5 shows us, Don and Connie, grinding angle noses on the body to frame bolts.
Photos #6 , #7, #8 shows the rear bucket seat frame that Jim Baker has made and is now positioning in the body.
Photos #9 shows one of the convertible latch pieces that Don F. is attempting to save as it was badly damaged at the acid tank at the plate shop.
Del and Jerry Bush continue to sort out all the electrical components on the 66 Buick wagon. Dean Tryon has again gone though the carburetor to insure it is ready to install. Later he then shipped it back.
Al continues the photo historical record.
