Paul showed up with a new ride which was a 1976 Pontiac wagon built off of the Chevrolet Vega platform. It is almost like a new car with only I believe he said 22, 000 original miles. It is really a neat small wagon.
Jerry Sigler stopped by just to see what was going on!
As you can see by the photographs the big job had to do with getting some sand blasting done in the pockets of the frame where we could not get in with our hands to sand these. Fortunately Del came to the rescue by going home and picking up his commercial diesel powered sand blaster and bringing it back. Once they got everything set up, the frame hauled outside, and Connie looking like a Space Cadet the sand blasting was started.
Also the interior of the barn was worked on installing insulation.
Jim Baker removed two wheels from the spare frame to get better brake drums.
Ron is starting to assemble the rear axles into the differential.
Although I did not mention everyone by name, Al takes good photographs that you can see everyone doing one job or another as everyone tackles a job.
