Todays work involved removing the car body from the original frame and seeking to understand all the chassis and frame differences. Following the removal of the body all the gas and brake lines were removed from the chassis as well as the front suspension and the rear axle-torque tube conbination.
Thorough photo taking is going on with individual parts in addition with Al taking photos of the people and their work.
It has been discovered that there is a small light at the base of the tachometer using a plastic tube connected to a prisim bring light from an existing bulb. We believe that this is from the high been light but further research needs to be developed here.
Looking at the rocker mouldings we have found the location of the attaching clips and the construction of the rocker mouldings itself. Rich plans to blow up more photos of the original rocker mouldings.
Additiona research was done with photo enlargement, calls, e-mails, and comparisons of standard versus unique parts built for this 1956X.
In a future communication I will list the know differences of this car versus a standard production 1956 Buick Century.
