value scale

We were required to make a value scale starting at white and fading to black. The scale was made using a variety of pencils starting from a soft (6b or 4b) and going to a hard pencil(h or 2h). The scale was made in a box and on one end there was a completely black box and it then faded across to white using value. The shade of darkness had to be constantly revised as the bar filled with value. There is no particular meaning or relativeness to my life in the scale but I like the shading in some of the boxes, I think it was done okay. It was hard to get very light but I think just not pressing down as hard and using a harder pencil helped. I made a mistake by putting lines on my scale where it was meant to fade line free so I would fix that.
