line value scale

We made value scale using only lines, we did this in the art room and at home. I used a pencil and made different angles and shapes to create value. I chose to use a lot of triangles and sharp shapes using line solely. It did not change shade very well so it does not accurately represent a value scale. There was no real meaning behind the art and it does not make many connections to my life. I really like the pattern I made in the scale and I struggled with the transition between shades, I was however more focused on the pattern than the shade. I like this piece and I would not change a thing except to perhaps change the shade problems.
