For this assignment we were asked to create four drawings, one of our hand holding something, one of an item in our kitchen, a corner of our room, and a self- portrait. The subject was to create four small drawings that we could use to as a reference to gauge our progress through the year. To do this I used a pencil and an eraser to make my "masterpieces". This was created to fulfill a certain homework assignment I used line, value, and contrast to make these what they are. Contrast was used to create shadow and as was value, line was used to make the corner of room picture specifically. Nothing much changed through making the drawings and it does not mean anything special or relate to my life in any major ways. My favorite drawing was the coffee carafé, I thought I did a decent job of making it look somewhat circular. None of these made me struggle but I would change the size of the corner of room sketch.
