FINANCE
1.Purchases on behalf of the school
Teachers should not incur expenditure on behalf of the school without checking this item is on the approved budget for the current year or can be approved by management for an agreed essential purpose.
2.Classes/Teams Raising Money
Prior approval from the Principal is required before a class or team begins to raise money at school.
3.Accountability
The Principal is responsible to see that all money received is properly accounted for. An external auditor examines the accounts annually. Money obtained from parents or children is public money and every care must be taken. The Board of Trustees approves the Internal Approval Levels (See Chart)
4. Parents Fund Raising
Parents fundraising goals (if there are any) will be set in consultation with staff and BOT. The Fundraising Parents will donate to the school funds raised toward the agreed goals in a given year. Any Parents Asociation account will remain separate from the school and will operate as a charitable association.
