INTRODUCTION:
This policy is to help ensure that the school complies with the NZ Copyright Act.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To protect Intellectual Property
2. To ensure appropriate attribution
3. To ensure integrity in our online work & media publication
GUIDELINES
1. Pt England School purchases annually the screen rights Television & Radio License, the Appra License, and the Reprography License.
2. Pt England Staff and students are to adhere to Copyright Licensing Ltd's guidelines for schools.
3. We will display the copyright guidelines prominently in our main copy room.
4. We will supply accurate attribution when we use the works of others.
5. We will seek permission from the owner of the work we wish to use if we have not purchased copyright and the work is not in the public domain or is not a part of creative commons.
6. The Pt England Board of Trustees is party to the Creative Commons Share & Share Alike Copyright License
