I love making homemade granola because it has WAY LESS ADDED SUGAR than the store-bought kind!
I always have homemade granola hanging out in my fridge because I put it on and in so many different foods! Adding granola to foods like Greek yogurt adds the perfect crunch that I crave without all of that added sugar nonsense! Find the recipe below!
3 1/4 cup oats
3/4 cup whole almonds
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup tart dried cherries
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Combine all ingredients except for cherries into a large bowl and bake on a lined baking sheet at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-18 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before mixing in dried cherries.
Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!
