Butternut squash is one of favorite vegetables because you can basically add any flavor to it!
I love spicing it up a little bit with some cayenne pepper while also adding some sweetness with pure maple syrup! Find the full recipe below!
*Note: This pairs great with baked chicken and green beans which makes for a well-balanced meal!
3 cups butternut squash, 1-inch cubes
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 dashes cayenne pepper
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
Meanwhile, add all of the ingredients together to a medium sized bowl and combine until well coated.
Evenly spread squash onto baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove pan from oven and stir. Return to oven and bake for another 15 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy! :)
