The HEALTHIER VERSION OF CARAMEL APPLES🤤🤤🤤
Apple season is in full bloom, and I’m so excited about it🤩🤩
You’ll only need a few simple ingredients to make these delicious caramel glazed apples.
4 granny smith apples, washed and stem taken off
4 thick skewers
2 tbsps butter
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
2 tbsps arrowroot flour
*optional toppings: chopped nuts, chocolate chips, coconut chips
Add each stick to the apple
In a small pot, melt the butter then add in the maple syrup and bring to a low boil
Simmer and continue to stir constantly for about 4-6 minutes then add in the tapioca and whisk/mix very well over low heat or turn the heat completely off
Once the mixture is runny but a little thicker, immediately coat each apple in the caramel sauce then sprinkle desired crushed nuts or any toppings
Keeps in fridge for up to 5 days!
