HEAD TEACHER'S NEWSLETTER
It really does feel like December this week-I went to see the excellent Sinbad pantomime at the Brunton last week and highly recommend it (oh yes I do); the seniors are practising their ceilidh moves for their Snow Ball; the musicians are tuning up for their Concert; the Christmas Fayre is today and Christmas door decoration is well underway across school…in fact… between all of this and the cold snap, it’s almost beginning to feel like Christmas.
I hope you are keeping warm and have a restful weekend.
Jodie Hannan

Kayla and Rory's Weekly Rundown
Hi guys, welcome back to another one of Rory and Kayla’s weekly rundown. We hope everybody has had a good week (Especially with the little bit of snow!). And we both hope all senior pupils have successfully completed their prelims and everyone is looking forward to the results.
Sadly this week we have not been up to much again as we have been busy with our prelims. We would like to remind ALL S5/S6 PUPILS to sign up to the Christmas Dance on the year group google classroom if they are interested in coming along.
Hope everyone has a good weekend as the days are getting colder and colder! :)
House Points
Well done to everyone who has been given a House point to add to the totals- every little helps!
Prelims
The prelim exams have gone very smoothly over the last 2 weeks. Pupils were organised, calm and focused. The team of invigilators were very complimentary about the approaches and attitudes of our S4-6 pupils while in the exam hall - well done to all. Teachers are currently in the process of marking prelim scripts. We ask that learners are patient in awaiting their results as marking volume varies between subjects. They will be given marks back in due course.
