Here's the Treated Lumber List
FENCE POSTS
We always use CONCRETE for a gate. Please note that we DO NOT use foam on a gate.
We want the holes to be 30 inches. We prefer there to be a gravel bed, BUT it's not necessary.
We use only 4 X 6 posts for our deck posts. We DO NOT USE a 4 X 4 post.
The fence post should be roughly 8 feet apart.
Do not use the pre fabricated fence boards- they are flemsy, and also do not adjust to the appropriate height of the ground.
Here's a video on How to Set a Fence Post the Easy way.
Please note that we do this when we're only setting one or two fence posts.

FENCE BOARD
For the fence board, we DO NOT GET the ones that are pre-made.
We only use 2 X 4s for the lateral sections and hand screw in the deck boards.
You can use a screw gun with clips to install the deck, and the board goes quicker.
The fence boards need to touch the soil, and it's OKAY if they go up and down a little bit.

FENCE GATE
Halfway pre fabricated Fence Gate
It’s adjustable. Helps to be able cover different spans. Also prevents the eventual “sagging” years down the road.
When choosing a halfway prefabricated fence gate, it is important to consider the following factors:
The size of the gate: Make sure that the gate is the right size for the opening in your fence.
The material of the gate: Choose a material that is durable and will withstand the weather conditions in your area.
The style of the gate: Choose a style that matches the style of your fence and your home.
The cost of the gate: Be sure to factor in the cost of the gate, as well as the cost of installation.
Once you have chosen a halfway prefabricated fence gate, you can have it installed by a professional or you can install it yourself. If you are installing the gate yourself, be sure to follow the instructions carefully.
