The goal of this project is to design a high-affinity biologic for COVID-19. It will be analogous to antibodies that bind to SARS-Cov-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. SARS-CoV-2 is a single-stranded positive-sense RNA virus. It is an enveloped virus with a helical capsid, and requires membrane fusion for entry into a human cell (Millet and Whittaker, 2018). This is an attractive target for therapeutic interventions (Kruse, 2020). The project is divided into 3 stages.
