Joan Ruane

Cotton Fiber to Fabric: Weaving with hand-spun and commercial cotton

Joan Ruane will give us a presentation in the morning, followed by an optional workshop in the afternoon on spinning cotton. If you would like to attend the workshop, please bring a $25 fee and your lunch. Joan will also have taklis for sale at $15.

For the workshop, Joan will have fiber and small bowls to use as well as taklis. At the end of the class, she will also have bobbins if you want to spin on a takli, save your yarn, but do not want to buy the spindle.
