March 19 Program

Julianne Bramson is going to be our speaker for March. She is a pattern designer, local to the area and an active member of Valley Stitchers Guild.

http://www.fashioninharmony.com/

From Carol de B:

Julianne Bramson is an exciting young designer who has been known to describe herself as channeling Mdm. Vionnet. Like Vionnet, Julianne is very much enamored of how bias draped garments enhance the female form. Her creativity in turning flat cloth into simple to sew and flattering garments is expressed in her designs for her company, Fashion in Harmony. One of Julianne 's innovative designs won this year's Threads Magazine design challenge for an original seam. Be prepared to gain a deeper understanding about the behavior of fabric and its capabilities from this creative artist.
