CNCH news update

CNCH On-Line News Editor position is open:

Are you a writer/info gatherer with a passion for the textile arts? Do you know someone who is? Let us know and help us find candidates who want to make CNCH news as interesting, current, effective and useful as can be. We need your help to get the job posting to guild members as quickly as possible.

The CNCH Advisory Council approved the revised CNCH On-Line News Editor Job Description at the January 9^th meeting including an honorarium of $400 per issue. We are excited about the Premier Issue and have set May 1^st as the target date. The CNCH On-Line News Editor Job Description and Application Form can be downloaded from the CNCH website at www.cnch.org. The application deadline is January 31, 2010. Questions can be sent to CNCHNews@cnch.org.

Many thanks go to those who took the time to respond to the November Communications Survey. It was your response that shaped the new CNCH On-Line News Editor Job Description. You said you wanted a quarterly publication and you prioritized the articles as follows:

1. Guild Activities

2. Reviews of Exhibits, Galleries, Fiber Articles, Books, etc

3. Classified Ads

4. Featured Articles on Techniques, Fibers, etc

5. Weaver’s Profiles
