Diablo Weavers Guild meets once a month, September through June, usually on the third Friday of the month.
New members and guests are always welcome.
In September, December and June we usually meet at a member's home.
Friday June 15 - Picnic at Vilija's house
The June picnic at Vilija's house will be on Friday, June 15, at 11:00 am.
Bring a luncheon dish to share ~
This is the day before St. Regis' Day - the patron saint of lacemakers. Bring a woven [or any kind] of lace project for show & tell that you've done in the past.
We did not meet in May as CNCH was the weekend of our normal meeting time.

Spinning at the Winery - Fleeces, Food & Fun
Fifteenth Annual Spinning at the Winery

Entry $5 per person
Bring a potluck dish to share and your spinning wheel or other project. Paper plates provided and folding chairs available or bring your own favorite chair.
There will be many vendors and a raffle at 2:00 pm.

More than 75 East Bay artists invite you to view their work. On display will be watercolor, acrylic and oil paintings, sculptures, photographs, jewelry and more.

WEAVING ON THE WALL: New & Recycled Materials Exhibit by Golden Gate Weavers
July 12 - August 31 at the EBMUD Offices (375 - 11th St, Oakland, 94607).
Exhibit is open during business hours and is a block away from the 12th St BART Station & the Oakland Convention Center.
A Reception for the exhibit will be on July 19, 4-6 PM. You are all invited for afternoon snacks and conversation with the weavers.
