Snack for February:

Anne Field Workshop on Collapse Weave, April 16, 17 and 18

There are still a couple opening in the workshop, but we do have enough participants now to make this a go for us. Anne's workshop on Devore for CNCH was one of the ones cancelled, but she has almost a two month itinerary of workshops and lectures between northern California and Washington State, that she is coming anyway.

Bring a check to the meeting for whatever you still owe for the workshop. The full cost of materials and the workshop is $170. Anne has been winding 5 warps a day to get to her target of the 100 that she needs for the whole trip! They should arrive sometime late this month or early March. As soon as ours come, I will mail them directly to each participant.

Thanks to all who have signed up for the workshop. And thanks to Will and Kate for hosting Anne while she is here in our area again.

Southern Argentina Spinners and Weavers Tour

April 28 - May 10, 2010

There are still four spots open in what will be a delightful trip along the base of the Andes, with occasional excursions into the mountains themselves. Beginning in Mendoza City and continuing down to northern Patagonia, visits will be made to many sights, along with meeting several native spinning and weaving communities. Cost will be about $2200 per person and includes the whole tour except air fare from the U.S. to Buenos Aires and back. Lots of meals included also. We can send an itinerary to anyone interested. Talk to Vilija, Will or Kate.
