We created a feature video about the rules of the DCMS library because there are a lot of rules that students and teachers are unaware of, such as leaving the bookshelves exactly the way you found them and being respectful to the library staff.
To begin, we started by choosing the template to edit. We then designed the front cover to mimic the school colors.
Next we began brainstorming ideas for filming and we figured out who would be students or library staff. We also started filming and it took multiple tries to get the footage we wanted.
After that, we got rid of unwanted footage and started to trim the video down to make it our wanted time.
Finally we finished editing and added the final touches. We added in some gators to the corner, changed the transitions to tumble, and added credits to the beginning scene.
The audience for our PSA is the DCMS staff and student body. The video is going to be seen by the teachers and students on our news show.
A problem we encountered when recording was not everyone being present to film. We really enjoyed filming and working together with each other.
