I took these photos at the Bowling Green Hot Rods stadium. Most of the photos took place outside, but Some of them I took inside like the picture of the lockers.
The reason I took these pictures was because I wanted to give people a perspective of the ballpark between seasons. I am one of the few people that get to see this so I wanted to share this information with the rest of Bowling Green. Also I thought it was a great idea for this project!
To take these pictures, I used our STLP camera. It is a Canon SX410 IS with a portable tripod.
Some creative shots I took were the baseball photos. It wasn't the baseball that was creative, it's how I took the photos of the baseball that were creative. I had to army crawl on the ground to get the right position.
My inspiration was a couple of months ago when I was at the ballpark with my dad. This was a month after the ballpark had closed and baseball season was over. I noticed that everything was shut down for the season, well I knew it was closed down but I never took a closer look at it. Then around December I needed some inspiration for this project, and I thought this would be a great project idea! I should take pictures when the ballpark runs down. So that is my inspiration.
A couple of things I enjoyed about this project was utilizing my creativity, and thinking about how to tell the story with my camera. Also it was really pretty that day.
