Digital Music, Composed

I decided to create an original music piece because I love music and decided to challenge myself to create my own music. After brainstorming for a few hours, I decided to create a music piece with a casual / fun music theme.

To create this composed music piece, I used an online program called Beepbox. I chose Beepbox because I liked this program more than Garageband. I found Beepbox very enjoyable to use and the functions were simple to learn. I wanted my music piece to have a special kind of aspect because it was something I created.

To begin, I started by adding in 3 measures of music with the Tenor Saxophone, the choir “ooh” noise, the reed organ, and the chip noise. The rhythm takes a rather fun or casual aesthetic, and is composed of a similar theme for measures 4 through 8. After a little tinkering, I decided to revamp the new music with different instruments. The new instruments consisted of a clean guitar in exchange for the Tenor, a clean piano for the Choir, and a classic drum set for the chip noise. After more added rhythmic noises, I devised a final plan for the song. After more tinkering, I have the final product down below!
