Space Myths

On this website, I talk about space myths from the past and present. There are many more myths than what I have on the website. The ones on the website are just some of the more common myths. An example is there is a dark side of the moon. This is a myth because half the moon is in the dark at a time but it is not always the same part of the moon.
I created this website because I really like space. I also really enjoy learning about new things. By creating this website I got to do both of those! I got to learn about space and new things I never knew were real. For example, I never knew that Jupiter didn’t circle the sun all year round. Also I got to teach people that some things you hear about space aren’t real. Like when you are a child you typically think that you will explode in space. This isn’t true because there is nothing that will conduct this explosion.
I used Google sites to create my website and I would definitely recommend it for other people. Google sites are easy to use and has simple controls to allow you to add what you wanted were you wanted it.
To create this Google site I had to first think of a subject. Space was one of the first ideas that popped into my head. Then I had to decide what to use to create my site. There are many websites that allow you to create a website. I chose to use Google sites because I was the most familiar with it and it was easy to use and upload.
The next step was for me was to research. I went to the web and found many myths. Many of those were different sites so those were the ones I selected to use. I also had to think back because I couldn’t find any websites with really good myths about the past. So I had to think of times when I learned some and try to remember them.
Next, I had to go over my site and make sure I used all of the right information. Then I had to publish it.
Making the site was really fun and enjoyable. I got to use my creativity to come up with ideas for a topic. Then I got to find some interesting things I did not know about space. I appreciate you taking the time to review this.

Nutrients in Food

Our ePublishing website project is called Nutrients in Food. It is a website where we go into detail on which nutrients the human body needs to remain healthy, what those nutrients do for the body, and what foods contain which specific nutrients.
For the most part we’ve put our focus on 4 of the main nutrients necessary for the human body. Vitamins, calcium, potassium, and proteins. We gave a quick bio on each on the main page then went more into detail on each one with their own individual pages. The whole point of the website is to help people who may be looking for information on specific nutrients and what is essential for a healthy diet(nutrients-wise).
On each page we gave a list of foods that contain the specific nutrient that page is explaining. Then there’s a list of possible side effects if there’s an overflow or just too big of an intake of that nutrient. Lastly there’s a recommended healthy daily dosage of the nutrient towards the bottom, for adults and children. Though for the vitamins page we instead list the different types of vitamins and explain how their obtained and what they do for you.
