Digital Storytelling
I wanted to create a story because I love to read and see the different climax and drama. I wanted to show that I have what it takes to make a story and have fun with it. I chose a choose your own adventure story because I think it is fun to have the option to choose what you want to do. In a regular story you might not like the ending and this way you get to pick everything you want.
I used google drive to do my story because I needed a lot of slides to do my storytelling project. I also used adobe express to generate images for my story.
For the images, I went to adobe express and I searched up a boy and a girl. I asked my STLP friends which images they liked and tried to go with the most popular choice. I did this because I wanted images that people would like. I did this process for each image in the story.Â
Each slide tells part of the story. Each slide is linked to the choice you make. I linked all the slides together by double tapping the mouse and going down to the link button and putting the slide number of where I wanted each link to go. I tested the links to make sure they worked.
I enjoyed the whole experience because I love to make cool bosses and cool allies you might have or defeat. I also loved to ask some people what some cool bosses or allies they wanted to see, so I could get some good popular choices.
Doing this project, I learned how to link slides and I also learned how to go to adobe express. I learned how to pin my downloaded images so I could find them easier. I also learned how to put the images on my slides.
