I created this website for my Technology Education class. To create my website I used code.org. In order to build my site, I had to write .html and .css code. We were able to make a website on any topic and I chose to create one about space. While creating the website, I used youtube videos focusing on videos from “Apogee” and “Everyday Astronaut”.

To begin, I created a .html page called an index which is the main page. I then wrote an introduction for the topic.

Second I created more .html pages for the content, and wrote about SpaceX, NASA, comparison of their rockets, and credits.

Third, I added images for every page from the respective topic.

Fourth, I created a .css page to decorate the .html pages and images.

Finally I added links to connect all of the pages together.

My favorite part of this assignment was being able to create the site however I liked.

While making this site, I learned how to use .html and .css. I also learned how to write paragraphs using html, and using commands to change different things. Finally, I learned how to decorate the pages using .css and control them.

I designed this digital poster for my General Music class at school. We had to find a Folk Musician and research about them. Then, we would put different pieces of information about the musician on a poster. I decided to research Mike Seeger.

I used the American FolkLife Center website to learn about what Mike used as inspiration for his music. I also used it to learn about his lifespan and instruments he plays. I used the Mike Seeger website for the rest of the information. I also used YouTube for the song.

My music teacher wanted us to use Canva to create our digital poster because it is a great program for making posters.

When I made my poster, I first created the title and byline. Next, I put the titles of three of his famous songs. I then added a famous quote from the Mike Seeger website. I then put his date of birth and death. Next, I added his birthplace and death place. I then added the instruments he learned to play. Finally, I put how he learned to play music. I included a picture of him and a QR code to a YouTube video of Freight Train, one of his songs. As I went along, I kept a list of the sources I used.

I enjoyed making the digital poster. It was fun using different fonts and elements to make my poster look good. I learned adding elements to digital posters helps a poster look more interesting.
