Screen Capture Tutorial
My screen capture tutorial will show you how to put a book on hold at Drakes Creek Middle School. I created this because I know many people that do not know how to put a book on hold but they really want to. I felt as if this was important because sometimes you need a book for an urgent reason. This is the reason I made a tutorial on how to put a book on hold.
To create this screen capture tutorial, I used my chromebook, screencastify, Canva for editing, and https://online-voice-recorder.com/.
To begin, I used an extension on Chrome called Screencastify. This let me record the screen on my chromebook. Without speaking, I went through the process of putting a book on hold. I didn’t record my audio because I knew I wanted to add in an image later.
Next, I used Canva to edit my video. Editing the video in Canva was very easy! I uploaded my video, edited it a bit, and added the image where I wanted it to go. I made the picture length for about 5 seconds so people watching had enough time to look at it.
Then recorded my audio using a site called https://online-voice-recorder.com/. This is a free voice recording site. So my audio would be more clear, I recorded my voice using a SnoBall microphone. I uploaded my audio recording to Canva, and edited my video to fit with the audio file.
Finally, I listened to my finished product, and edited a bit more until I felt satisfied.
What I enjoyed most about this project was editing the video because I like to edit things a lot. It could be a photo, video, or anything. I just like editing things.
