I chose this project because I have always liked video games. I’ve played a lot of different video games before but some of them aren’t as good as the Nintendo/Nintendo fan games so I decided to do my infographic on the history of Nintendo.

I used the free platform Canva to create my infographic because it is very easy to use. You just need to login using your email and then you're ready to make your infographic. I made my own template since none of the other ones fit with how I was making my infographic. I put in only one text box and used the font Open Sans Condensed so that it would all fit neatly.

My research was on the Nintendo webpage. That is where I found out about their history (I didn’t plagiarize though because that’s just bad!) You can see their webpage here: https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Corporate/Nintendo-History/Nintendo-History-625945.html.

I used a shade of blue for my background with a golden yellow frame for a lot of different reasons. First off Pikachu is kind of like Pokemon’s mascot and the back of their cards are blue. Second in Splatoon and Splatoon 2 you can be on the yellow team and you're always allergic to water! I also added the background music Morning Snowflake in the Canva program. I think this adds to the calming colors of my project.

What I liked about this project is that I learned more about Nintendo and how it got to where it is today. I also liked learning about how to use Canva!
