The first step I took to making my animation was brainstorming what to make. I thought up interesting ideas, then settled on something that relates to my school. With an idea in mind I got started on animating.
The images I drew were simple. It started off as just a young man in a blue shirt. Then he morphs into an alligator with green skin and yellow eyes.
The programs I used were procreate and imovie. I used these because they have many helpful things for making videos like sound effects and art brushes.
While I brainstormed what to make. I got rid of some ideas and kept others. Sometimes I thought I had a good idea, but then I realized it was either too complicated or too boring. Then I finally decided on making a guy transforming into an alligator. Then I got started on animating. I drew each picture and within two days, I was done animating. Next I saved and downloaded my animation and added it to imovie. Finally I added sound effects and sent it to my school.
My school's mascot is an alligator, and I think transformation is really cool looking. So I decided to combine them and make a guy transforming into an alligator.
