Documentary

My documentary is on Drakes Creek’s teachers, with interviews taken from teachers on how they like their jobs. I am inexperienced with editing videos, as this is my first time editing interviews. Nevertheless it came out alright with this being my first time.

This was made with two different programs, one being the standard iMovie, and the other being a program called Pinnacle Studio 16. Pinnacle Studio 16 supplied the unusual diamond fall transition and the other unusual ones, which were good to see.

This documentary got off to a bit of a rocky start, with my mom delivering the wrong cord to download footage and not knowing it. Sometimes teachers would be unavailable and I had to interview what teachers I could find.

The recorder I used was a Canon Vixia HF M50 with a tripod. The Vixia has about 8 GB of recording space, which translates to about 3 hours of video. The Vixia also has touch screen that you use to navigate the gallery and add personal touches to videos.

I'm very happy with how the documentary turned out.
