To take my picture, the first thing I did was find a good angle; where the sun wouldn't ruin the picture, but rather complement it instead. After finding my angle, I tried to be as steady as possible to try and not make any slight errors with my photo, since I did not own or use a tripod.
Once I finally shot the photo, I edited it using the app Snapseed. I wanted to capture a warm, crispy, autumn essence in the photo. This led me to raise the warmth of the picture, giving it more of the crispy, fall essence I demanded with Snapseed, making me want to further develop the picture with its effects.
I played around with the effects Snapseed provided, and altered the grain and the lens blur slightly, which made the photo more crisp and sharp. At this point, the photo was really coming together to what I envisioned. I then changed the curves to add more balance between the picture’s shadow and light. The changing of the curves added a greater blend of contrast to my image, which I felt really contributed to the warm soul I envisioned, perfectly wrapping up the original change I wanted to make.
