Swine-like mountain dwellers that are pretty neutral to the Dwarves when it comes to sharing resources and territory. Vykon are pretty aggressive however when it comes to their safety and the safety of their young. Despite being similar to Earth’s pigs, Vykon are actually very clean and enjoy soft beds as opposed to constantly being in mud. They also keep their weapons in prime condition and their homes are kept neat and orderly. Male Vykons can get upwards of seven feet tall and weigh around eight hundred pounds. Outside of their brave nature to take on foes, they also have a piercing scream that they use not only as a war cry, but to catch enemies and predators off guard before they attack. Vykons wear armor like many other races do, however they also have thick, coarse bristles that cover their body to protect their skin.

Artio Vykon are half the size of the Standard Vykons and look vastly different from them as well. They have pure white hair instead of bristles and pink skin. While the Standard Vykons are extremely aggressive, the Artio Vykons are far less aggressive. However, they are still capable of screaming just as loud as the Standard Vylons. Artio Vykon skin is very tough as well against weapons, but due to having far lighter skin, they are very susceptible to sunburn. In a pinch, they will revert to the stereotype that Earth's domestic pigs have and cover themselves in mud to use as sun cream if they cannot get their hands on effective sun cream.

The smallest of the Vykon subraces, the Shoata Vykons are just as hardy as the other Vykon. They only get about three feet tall and their small stature is compensated with a potbelly to protect their organs from blunt force trauma. They can either have bristles or hair covering their bodies but usually still need sun cream or mud to prevent sunburn. Shoata Vykons also usually have a sweet disposition unless they are threatened, then will scream loudly to alert others and work together to take down enemies and predators. Shoata Vykons are usually red with varying amounts of black spots on them.

The Depths variation of the Vykons. The Tusk Vykons are uniquely built with males growing impressive tusks. A number of them will end up with tusks growing through their heads even and put their lives at risk all for showing the strongest dominance displays. Tusk Vykons live in small groups usually composed of one dominant male and a few females. Tusk Vykons aren't as loud as the other Vykons with their screams, however they are just as vicious as the others when it comes to protecting their offspring as well as their females. Tusk Vykons will occasionally trade with Crag Dwarves and even serve as protection for Crag Dwarf miners. They put their vicious capabilities to use when they have to fight off enemies and predators. Tusk Vykons have dark skin and very short hair. They are sometimes confused for being bald due to how short their hair is. They are resistant to sunburn, but prefer to stay in the Synthetisch Deep Mines.
Ancestors to the Vykons. The Snoutsnappers were documented being extremely aggressive and have passed that aggressive nature to the Standard Vykons. Instead of a high pitched scream, the Snoutsnappers clacked their teeth together in quick succession and made a sound similar to machinery. In ancient times it was a very unknown noise which would intimidate predators and allow the Snoutsnappers to catch their enemies off guard. Alongside their intimidation tactics and primitive weapons, they would not hesitate to use their sharp tusks and hard pointed hooves as weapons as well.
