Deer/Dragon like creatures sometimes compared to looking like plant covered Qilin, a single horned spirit from multiple mythologies. Thousands of years ago the Folikai fought extensively for territory claims until they all agreed to peace and now live in harmony on Albimelo. They are now known as a peaceful, regal race.

These Folikai have very dense foliage growing on them, especially on their bodies and tails. Some occasionally even have fruit growing on them. They reflect dense forests and their colors range depending on the tree species they represent. Ones with Birch lineage will have lighter coloring while those with black oak lineage will have much darker coloring. It is hard to tell the lineage on Forest Folikai however due to color changes over generations and a lot of cross breeding.

These Folikai prefer open plains and flowery fields just like their namesake and their appearance. They all have flowers growing on their foliage parts. The flowers display their lineage easily. It is very rare to find any pureblood Floral Folikai and many are quite proud of their family history, even going as far as to freely share it to anyone who asks about it.
Population Locations: Nasuka Village
These Folikai are very proud and practically flaunt their purebred status. They are a darker colored species who despise any and all mix breed Folikai and are quite bitter about how the territorial battles ended. It is best to avoid them at all cost due to their hatred of other races and even dragons.
Population Locations: Fukaba Village
The Depths variation of the Folikai. With dark colored bodies and mushrooms growing on them they look very much like rotting wood. The Fungal Folikai live in family groups and are always traveling. They sleep in burrows together when they need rest but otherwise are always traveling for supplies and food to survive. Sometimes families will merge together temporarily while traveling which allows for socialization between everyone of all ages and sometimes even allows mature offspring to find their mates. When this is the case, the new male usually follows the female and her family until they have their own offspring and go their own way with their new family.
Ancestors of the Folikai identified purely by their purebred status and having fought in the territory wars that had raged for generations. Each clan was a single type of Folikai and they despised all the other clans. How the wars ended has been lost to history and only the Nightshade Folikai hold onto the very old hate of crossbred Folikai.
