Key locations that can be found on the planet Astronomia, home to the Space Class Dragons and the Axols.

Astronomia

Pronunciation: Ass-tro-no-mia

Order: 21

Dragon Class: Space

Other Races Present: Axols

Weather: Clear

Temperatures: 30-40 degrees F

Astronomia is home to Space Class Dragons. Being home to a dragon class adapted to living with no atmosphere, Astronomia has a thin atmosphere. Other dragons could come to the planet, but they would struggle to breathe at first. With this thinner atmosphere, certain plants have specialized in growing on the planet, though very few are present. Astronomia could be described as a vast planet full of canyons and rock flats. There are a few cave systems for dragons that need to rest, but otherwise they are usually on the go.

Astronomia has no weather, but with the constant darkness, the planet is usually at 30-40 degrees. Temperature fluctuations are actually quite common here.

Tol’Kinara City

The Axol City. The city's origins for many centuries has been unknown, despite the amount of research done by all manner of Axols and even help from Tenkkoas. As far back as they can gather, Axols found this ancient city and called it home, soon branching out of it and adapting to the various planets in Dragoso. Much of the city today is both old and new structures now, the old being an unknown material that many are still trying to figure out. Dwarves and Goblins have come to the agreement that the material is a mixture of stone and metal. Goblins have even found circuitry in some of the structures. The Astromantas of the city are kept in an enclosed area and stables. Tol'Kinara City is the main sales location for Astromantas from all over Dragoso.

Starhollow Village

The Space Axol Village. Starhollow has what is described as a beautiful village with a lot of vegetation and a good portion of the village has plants grown in grow beds with sun lamps to encourage growth and seeding to other gardens. There is some advanced technology found in this village as well to keep in close contact with the city. Space Axols take pride in their village. The Astronomia Astromantas are kept in an enclosed area in the middle of the village.

Herald’s Hope

The Celestial Axol Village. Much of their village is built out of a light colored stone said to be similar to marble but much more durable. It takes a lot more time for the stone to show weathering and wear compared to marble. A lot of the buildings are accented in gold and have golden windows. There is a peaceful air about the entire village as well. The holy Astromantas are kept safe in stables.

Blackmold Village

The Infernal Axol Village. Built with the idea of past and present, Blackmold is a mishmosh of chaos and decay, as though the Axols could not agree on how it should look. Buildings are built with black stone accented with red or gray weathered stone accented with green. There is a variety of demonic decor and representation within the village as well. The demonic Astromantas are kept within stables.

Wyrm Hold

A hold that is run only by Space Class Dragons that works as a quarry to excavate minerals from the crater the hold is situated in.

Equinox Hold

This hold is stationed on a plateau and functions as a training facility for soldiers and takes advantage of the thin atmosphere to help with endurance training.

Protostar Outpost

This research facility studies the flora of Astronomia. The scientists study the plants in order to understand how they are growing with the planet’s thin atmosphere and lack of sunlight.

Temple of Terasona

The Astronomia Temple. A temple made of space rock and covered in stardust. A rather unusual temple, but it fits with the theme. The temple is a gift to the Moon Dragon Goddess Terasona.
