Kamara is well known for her leadership skills, so when an opening to lead an Elite group of dragon soldiers came up among the Royal Guard, she jumped on it. Finding out that she would be leading Elite Dragons made the experience all the more fulfilling. Once she found out she had the role, she went and got the Elite Dragon symbol on her chest to match the Elite Dragons. She takes her job seriously, but it's truly a dream for her.

Jayce was the first Elite Dragon to join the Royal Guard. Like the other Elite Soldiers, they chose to leave their past lives behind and instead look only to the future. Jayce is one of few unique Elite Dragons that possess all three possible colors. Being the first of the Elite Guard, Jayce acts as superior to the other Elite Dragons, teaching them all he knows and also working alongside Kamara when training new soldiers for the Royal Guard.

Kamara is the only one who had ever spoken with Volrim and she refuses to speak of why he is who he is.

Hethas visits them anytime he has leave from the castle.

Tanor isn't even fully grown yet, but he works just as hard as the other Elite Dragons.
