Souls cursed with a damned life usually become demons. Some even have theories that these creatures were cursed to be half dragon, though this has not been proven. Demons have a reptilian appearance however with reptilian wings. They gain infernal magic and various abilities alongside the use of their given fire that is also said to be a part of their soul. Each demon type has a different colored flame. Standard demons possess orange flames.

There are also extremely high ranking demons that have not been given specific names. The top demons have black flames and many more abilities at their disposal, even the ability to transform a willing, living being into a demon regardless of their morality in life.

Demons of high rank, just under the top ranking ones. They are extremely powerful and highly respected. They are almost as powerful as the top ranking demons. Their flames are a deep red color.

Demons of lust, extremely beautiful in demon form and their chosen alternative form. Some are even borderline sex addicts, though some have no desire to participate in such activities. Many Succubi and Incubi revere the Council of the Underworld member, Lust, going as far as believing she is their mother. These demons have pink flames.

Children of Succubi/Incubi. Commonly they are half human, but there are some that are children of other races within Dragoso. Nobody is immune to the charms of Demons of Lust, though Cambions don’t always result after the encounters. Cambions have shape shifting abilities and are very much like standard Demons. Their flames are described as being a pink-red color.

Ankara
Ankara
These demons are primarily female with six arms and are one of the larger demons, reaching up to 8 feet in height. While many demons either rely equally on magic and their weapon or heavily on magic, Ankaras rely heavily on their weapons, usually wielding great weapons like great axes or great swords. With their size, they can handle a large weapon with ease. Their flames are a deep purple.

Much like their name suggests, Jailers are quite similar to Wardens of human prisons. The Jailers manage the pits where cursed souls are housed and tortured. They are also the ones that are typically tasked with tracking down any troublesome demons that Deathbore demands be locked up. Jailers also manage the pens that keep the Demonic Hellhounds locked up and the pocket dimensions the Hell Dragons are kept in. Jailers have green fire.

They have an endless thirst for knowledge so they travel around extensively to gather the history and knowledge they want. Due to their want for it, they’ve become very adept at fitting in with mortals, taking on a mortal form to gather what they want to learn. Despite being demons and skilled deceivers, they’re actually incredibly docile. Their flames are a gentle yellow.

Known as Deal Making demons, Brokers make deals with mortals in exchange for the mortal’s soul at the end of their lives. Anyone who makes a deal with a Broker is automatically cursed to Hell when they die. Brokers have a high amount of power and use it to benefit mortals. They can give someone as small as an amazing talent or as big as incredible power. Sometimes Brokers make deals that benefit themselves more than the one they’re making a deal with. They’re incredibly good liars so they’re able to manipulate people at times into making deals. Their flames are a bright white.

Known as Demons of Sorrow, Wailers are cursed to be unable to feel happiness or anything that has to do with serotonin or dopamine. They are extremely depressed and some even waste their afterlives wailing uncontrollably like a ghost, hence the name Wailer. Most of the time Wailers come to existence if they were depressed in their mortal lives, some of them even have done the ending of their lives themselves. Wailers have blue fire.
